CRIMINAL LAW

I was once told by a mentor that not all people charged with crimes are criminals.  This valuable lesson has been confirmed through my years in private practice.  Many people make mistakes for a number of reasons.  I take pride in my efforts not only to defend the accused, but to also assist clients in getting professional help for any problems that may be the root of their troubles.  I work hard to maintain a professional reputation with prosecutors and judges and have proven my willingness and ability to effectively litigate and negotiate any matter of criminal defense.  IN 2010 I helped two clients who were charged with sex crimes receive unanimous not-guilty verdicts in back to back weeks.  These trials gained notoriety with a front page story in the statewide publication Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
